HDR 3

John Cochrane shared some very interesting images with the group - not we think from multiple exposures but all with a good dynamic range. We particularly liked the Automobile Museum ones.

Ian gave us lots of excellent HDR images. His normal technique is to use the in-camera HDR setting to achieve multiple exposures but then combine in Lightroom.

  1. So in my pictures above: they are all 3 bracketed exposures, 1 stop apart, handheld, the exposures are processed (gently, I too dislike the over cooked HDR look) in Photomatix, then post processed using NIK Color Effex or Silver Effex
